Kidscape was established in 1985 and is committed to keeping children safe. They believe that protecting all children from harm is key. They work to prevent the abuse and exploitation of children and any kind of bullying including emotional, physical, and cyber. Kidscape works to provide individuals and communities with practical skills to keep themselves safe, and reduce the likelihood of future harm. Their free ZAP courses for severely bullied children teach practical, assertive skills to children and their families which are proven to reduce bullying in over 90% of cases.

BWCF helped to fund the ZAP courses in 2009 and are doing so again for 2011 to 2013.
